The Heidelberg Master's program in physics is divided into two semesters for advanced studies followed by a subsequent one-year research phase, during which Master's students independently learn scientific work and the ability to develop new types of subject matter. The research phase includes a preparatory period as well as the actual master's thesis in one field of specialization.
The training program is generally conducted in English. Very good English skills are therefore a prerequisite for successful study.
