Once again this year, the Department of Physics and Astronomy is taking part in the nationwide Girls’ Day on April 23, 2026, offering a diverse and interactive workshop program. As part of the faculty-wide full-day program “Physics Up Close”, numerous research groups from different institutes will open their doors and provide female students with exciting insights into current research topics – ranging from quantum physics and astrophysics to environmental physics, computer science, and artificial intelligence.
