The Faculty of Physics and Astronomy at Heidelberg University is pleased to announce the winners of the 2024 WE Heraeus Dissertation Prize: Gergana Dimitrova Borisova and Fabian Hahner.
Gergana Dimitrova Borisova impressed with her presentation on "Controlling Two-Electron Systems in their Excited State by an Intense Laser Field: Strong-Field Ionization of Atomic Helium & Wave-Packet Manipulation in Molecular Hydrogen".
Fabian Hahner convinced the audience with his talk on "The Pure Spinor Superfield Formalism and Twisted Supergravity".
Both candidates stood out during the final selection colloquium with the clarity and depth of their presentations. The Faculty warmly congratulates Gergana and Fabian on this recognition of their excellent work.
