Teaching prize winter term 2022/2023
The faculty awards its teaching prize for the winter term 2022/2023 to Dr. Matteo Maturi for his lecture on theoretical astrophysics. The students appreciated his clear physical explanations, and the study commission emphasised that the students liked in particular how Dr. Maturi was tailoring his lecture to their previous state of knowledge. The prizes for the best tutorials are awarded to Dr. Dorothea Scheunemann and Mr. Tobias Hammel for the tutorial in experimental physics III and V, respectively, with clear and careful explanations, much time devoted to questions, and the focus on concepts rather than formalisms.
