Multiple crises at the same time - how data analytics and risk management can help to navigate in uncertain times

Team d-fine

d-fine, Frankfurt am Main
Afternoon

“We live in uncertain times” -  Rarely has this statement been as relevant as it is today. Political, economic, and environmental uncertainty are all occurring. How should one deal with this situation wisely and strategically?

Uncertainty as such cannot be eliminated, but one can mitigate its negative effects. By responding to it through smart decision making; leveraging a combination of intelligent data analysis, advanced risk management methods, modern IT landscapes and technologies while adhering to current regulatory rules.

In this year’s lecture series, d-fine will present how our consultants help our customers to navigate safely through these uncertain times, turning uncertainties into opportunities. We will present several examples from our work at a wide range of clients, varying from industry, finance, to life science. In doing so, we will demonstrate why physicists are well suited to deal with such tasks as part of a cross-functional team.
