ENTROPY, PATTERNS, EMERGENCE, AND AI IN A RANDOM UNIVERSE
Elena Sellentin

Nachmittags
Our Universe is random since birth, and will continue to stay so. Understanding it on a fundamental level therefore requires a fusion of physics and statistics, otherwise the role of chance in structure formation cannot be understood. This lecture series focuses on results from pattern formation, entropy-driven processes, AI-based analyses and traditional Bayesian insights into how complex structures emerge from relatively simple physical laws, once one adds randomness to the mix.
