In this talk we will show you possible paths from being a physicist in academia (i.e., astrophysics) to strategy and data science consulting at nxt statista. We will elaborate on selected highlights of our project work in our focus industries – from Hydrogen infrastructure projects in the energy transition to data science applications in the medical sector or the fashion industry. The advantages of a physics background in consulting are manifold: From the core analytical skills, programming experience or dealing with adversity to structured communication and argumentation.
