In this informal black board discussion, I will briefly summarize the fundamental physics that NANOGrav New Physics science group is conducting, including ultralight bosonic particles, inflationary universe GW signals, scalar induced GWs, primordial black holes, cosmic strings, phase transitions. I will discuss some open questions and potential directions.
